Had a very good day at SAIT today. Taught two classes, one in basic lighting and the other in wedding photography. Decided to use an image from the basic lighting where I showed them how to us gels to get different coloured backgrounds. This was an orange gel lighting my grey/blue muslin background. Love the vibrancy and warmth it gave to the image. Lights were two Balcar Mini Z's, one for the background and the other with a 4' x 18" Larson strip soft box. A reflector was added to the shadow side. Canon 7D, 24-70 f2.8 @ f 8, 1/125 sec at 100 ISO.
