I took a walk up on Nose Hill Park here in Calgary today thinking I might find some Crocus or Wild Rose flowers starting to bloom. However it looks like it is still to early so I walked a couple of paths seeing what I could find. The above shot is my Instagram 366 image for today as I found these dried berries still on the bush and framed them up with the dramatic sky behind. On the photo below I was looking to create a depth with the grass in the foreground, the trees in the mid-ground and the hill and sky in the background. I enhanced both images using the Drama filter in Snapseed and bumping the saturation before finishing both up by adding the frames.
